Based completely on all of the customer reviews posted recently for the Garmin GPS 60Cx Handheld GPS Navigator, the overall quality of this new Garmin system has greatly exceeded everyone’s expectations. The main positive mention has been the accuracy of the High Sensitivity GPS receiver. Customers have been mentioning that this newly designed GPS system carries a supreme accuracy when compared to all of the other GPS system currently on the market. The only negative mention has been focused on the intended use of the new Garmin GPS 60Cx Handheld GPS Navigator. One customer, for example, mentioned that he was disappointed on how low in quality the base map directory was while attempting to utilize it for driving purposes.
After reviewing the Garmin GPS 60Cx Handheld GPS Navigator on our own, we have concluded that this newly designed GPS system is truly one of a kind. The main complaint we have concerning this new system is the amount of time that it takes in order to become fully acquainted with what it can and cannot do. Even though it only took three to four hours to reach a level of system wide competence, it was an annoyance that we cannot ignore. If you have time to become familiar with the device, then this complaint will actually become secondary to the merited praises concerning the GPS’ accuracy. In regards to the customer that stated his disappointment over the base map directory not being sufficient for driving purposes, we suggest not using this device for that endeavor. Its primary purpose is for hiking, biking or camping, not drive. Highly recommend!
