The one thing that customers are really commenting on is the fact that the Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator is simply that… it is a simple navigation GPS system. Some of the customers have complained that the base maps that are included in this system have a real hard time being updated; however, the system itself comes with a label saying that it is only meant to be used for general positioning. Having said that, we decided to take a look at the Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator in order to form our own review!
When we received the Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator, we found that it is, in fact, designed for only the most basic of GPS functions, though we were impressed on how accurate it really was. This little handheld device was able to map out our current position, as well as help us get back to our car after we purposefully walked blindly around a park filled with pathways that go in and out of the surrounding forest. That said, it also became clear that the Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator can also be used for hunting, tapping into the news feed that suggests the best times for fishing or hunting your game. That alone made it worth the purchase for one of our colleagues! All in all, the new Garmin eTrex H Handheld GPS Navigator, even though it only provides the basic GPS functions, comes highly recommended for hunters or fishermen!
